These resorts draw celebrities and ski experts every ski season. Many Colorado ski resorts are situated in the Rocky Mountains, making for ideal ski conditions each year. If you are planning to visit Colorado for a ski or snowboard trip, you will have lots of options to choose from. Aspen is one of the most popular ski resorts in Colorado. Once a mining town, Aspen is now one of the hottest destinations in the USA. Aspen has a lot of Snowy hills, challenging and varying terrain. It offers a choice of challenging day outs or easy meandering and relaxing runs. There are 29 runs; ideally suited for beginners and intermediate skiers. The combination of world class accommodations and restaurants with world class skiing makes it an enjoyable visit. If you wish to ski day and night then Keystone resort is the ideal location. The night ski area is the largest in North America and the best night skiing resort in Colorado. There are 116 trails, which are diverse and great. Keystone Resort offers the use of three great mountains. Great specials are available for those staying up at the resort and there is exciting nightlife with fantastic restaurants. Colorado has long been known as the home of North America's best ski resorts. New resorts are being built, and upgrades are making the old ones more fabulous than before. For many people a dream vacation would be a week at one of these mammoth resorts and some of them are offering great deals, making it possible for those of us who aren't millionaires to enjoy some world class skiing and accommodations as well.
